Kyle was born in New Orleans, Louisiana but grew up in Baton Rouge and has been living in Prairieville since 2008. Kyle graduated from Tara High School in Baton Rouge and attended Southeastern and LSU for college. Kyle along with his wife Sara have 3 kids, one of which will be starting Prairieville High School in the fall. Kyle serves as the Chief Revenue Officer for his company HMR servicing based in Richmond, Virginia. He currently runs operations for the company nationally and oversees the business that is done in over 40 states around the country. Kyle and Sara have raised there children in Prairieville and have seen them all attend Prairieville Primary and move onto Prairieville Middle. Kyle has been an active volunteer within the school system for years and is looking forward to continuing that service with Prairieville High School. In his spare time Kyle enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, traveling, and working at their family farm.
Kimberly was born in Marietta, Georgia. She graduated from St. Amant High School and went to college at Snead State Junior College and LSU. Kimberly worked in sales and distribution of valves and actuators in the chemical industry for ten years. Now, she is a PreK4 teacher. Kimberly and her husband, Joe, have four children and two grandchildren. Their three oldest children graduated from St. Amant High School. Their youngest child will be an incoming freshman at Prairieville High School. Kimberly can’t wait to meet all the incoming parents and community members who will be supporting the Prairieville Hurricanes!!!!
D.D. and her husband, Albert, have lived in Prairieville since 2005, and all three of our their sons are (or have been) student-athletes. Our youngest is currently a junior at Prairieville High and a proud member of the Hurricanes baseball team. Over the years, she has supported youth and school athletics as a team mom, tournament coordinator, treasurer and fundraiser. She has also served as a liaison between coaches, directors and parents—organizing tournaments, managing finances, scheduling concessions and communicating with families. This past year, she co-chaired the Home Runs for Hurricanes Social and helped lead baseball concessions. She also volunteers at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, where she has taught religious education for nearly 20 years. Professionally, she is the Chief Operating Officer of her family’s software company. She focuses on daily operations, team coordination and building systems that help others succeed—skills that directly support the Booster Club Secretary role. She also has a background in accounting, small business and education.
Ruby was born in Hattiesburg, MS but has lived in Louisiana since she was in the sixth grade. Ruby is a 1991 graduate of St. Amant High School. She graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1995 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting and again in 2005 with a Masters of Business Administration. Ruby and her husband, Dennis Davis, have three kids, Mason, Reed and Addison. Mason and Reed both graduated from Dutchtown High and Addison will be a Sophomore at PVHS in the fall. Ruby is a Supervisory Auditor for the Defence Contract Audit Agency where she has worked for over 24 years. Ruby is excited to be on this journey to help establish the inaugural booster club at this amazing new high school. Geaux Canes!
Scott was born and raised in Thibodaux, Louisiana. I am a graduate of E.D White Catholic High School and the University of Louisiana-Monroe. My wife Toni and I have lived in Prairieville since 2002 along with our three kids. Our oldest son is a Dutchtown graduate, our second son will be a senior at Dutchtown, and our daughter will attend Prairieville High School in 2025. I serve as the Director of Pharmacy/Physician Relations at St. James Parish Hospital. I have served as the President of the Louisiana Society of Hospital Pharmacists, and as the Committee Chair of Boy Scout Troop 769. In my spare time I enjoy traveling with family, golf, and watching sports, especially soccer.
Jodi was born in Nebraska and moved to Baton Rouge when she was just 4 years old. She is a graduate of Tara High School where she met and later married her high school sweetheart, Chris Dettman. Together they have 3 kids and moved to Ascension Parish in 2010 for the school system. Their oldest, Haylee Dettman is a 2018 graduate of DTHS and a PICU nurse. Owen, their second son is a 2022 graduate of DTHS and a junior majoring in Supply Chain Management at SELU and their youngest, Hudson will be attending PVHS as a sophomore this year. Jodi owns Reform Fitness in Prairieville with has been open since 2015, She holds several fitness certifications in Pilates and barre and when she is not teaching classes or personal training she loves traveling, running, exploring the outdoors and spending time with her family.

I am the proud mom of an incoming freshman football player as well as 2 competitive dancers. We have a golden doodle, Priscilla, a bunny, Furball, and 3 parakeets. I am a notary for the State of Louisiana and currently work full time for a law firm in Baton Rouge conducting mock trials. I also currently serve as President of my neighborhood’s HOA. I truly feel blessed to be a part of the ‘Canes crew and look forward to serving on the Executive Board for all athletic programs.
I was born and raised in Chalmette, LA. I graduated from Archbishop Hannan High School and attended college at Nicholls State University. My wife Ashley and I moved to Prairieville in 2007. We have four kids, Kaylie (24), Sammy (14), Luca (12) and Sophia (10). I have coached in Ascension Parish since 2012 and have also owned and operated a youth sports organization for five years in Ascension Parish. I look forward to helping grow the Prairieville High School Booster Club for all student athletes across all sports so that they get the very best that is available to them. Geaux Canes!
Mark was born in and raised in the Feliciana parishes. He graduated from West Feliciana High School. He attended LSU and earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science on a ROTC scholarship. He served 6 1/2 years in the Navy as a submarine officer and nuclear power prototype instructor. He moved to Prairieville in 2011 with his wife, Denise and three kids, Trey, Layla and Aubrey. This year Trey will be a junior at STA, Layla will be an incoming freshman and cheerleader at PVHS, and Aubrey will be starting 6th grade at Galvez Middle. He has worked for Entergy since 2011 and is a supervisor at the Waterford 3 nuclear power plant. He enjoys cheering his kids on at their xc/track meets, soccer games and cheer/dance competitions. He is excited to get to work with the board members to establish the best booster club for this wonderful new school! Geaux Hurricanes!
Russ was raised in Thibodaux, LA. He graduated from Thibodaux High School and he attended LSU and Nicholls State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Nicholls. He moved to Prairieville in 2011 with his wife, Kristy, and have raised three kids in the Ascension Parish School system (Evan, Tyler and Caroline). This year, Evan will be a Senior at PVHS and plays Football and Soccer, Tyler is an incoming Freshman at PVHS and will play Soccer, and Caroline will be a 7th grader at PVM inspired to play Volleyball. Russ works for Marathon Petroleum and enjoys Coaching and Refereeing in addition to supporting his children and all their activities.
I was born and raised in Donaldsonville. I am a graduate of Donaldsonville High and University of Louisiana-Monroe. My wife Summer and I have lived in Prairieville since 2007 along with our 2 boys. My oldest son will be a sophomore at Prairieville High and my youngest will attend Galvez Middle in the fall. I currently work as an Application system pharmacist for Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System. In our spare time my family and I enjoy traveling, watching sports and spending time on the water whether it is by the pool or on the river.
My name is Rene Ponsaa. I am the Head Athletic Trainer and Director of Sports Medicine here at Prairieville High School. I have been a high school athletic trainer for 18 years. After graduating from Southeastern in 2005, I worked one season with the New Orleans Voodoo, the arena football team. I am a husband to my beautiful wife Sarah, and father of two amazing children Drew and Adalyn (Addie)! Athletic training is my passion. It is what I love to do! I am thankful that God has placed me in a position to not only do what I love, but to be a servant to those around me. I am excited to be part of my new family here at Prairieville High School! I am looking forward to what the future holds here at PVHS!! GEAUX CANES!!!!
